Firestarter

Zahra is the founder of Creasallis, and she started the company in 2021 after having a sudden realisation on how to improve the penetration of antibodies into the tumour.  She has 17 years’ experience in biotech/pharma in the Cambridge sphere, ranging from Domantis, GSK, LifeArc and Agenus.  Her expertise is taking molecules from chaos to candidate, and delivering antibody therapeutics to IND. In addition to this, she has lead platform innovation groups and is looking to build a unique organisation in Creasallis, both in terms of growing and fostering innovation and exploring alternative ways of working to create an inspired and productive culture.

People Alchemist

Catherine has worked in the People & Culture function over the last 20 years across various countries and brings a wealth of experience including 8 years in biotech start-ups. She is an experienced HR Leader, Coach, Business Partner, and Implementer. She’s seen the good, the bad and the ugly, and this has led her to explore new ways of working. She claims to have the biggest personal library around this field.

Catherine will be leading our people and culture function with a focus on employee experience.

Protein Maverick

Joyce has a wealth of experience in protein expression and purification. If there is ever a question about an AKTA, she will know the answer!  She did her PhD at the University of Leicester solving protein structures by NMR spectroscopy and went on to do a postdoc at the University of Cambridge focusing on structural studies of recombinant chromatin. Since then, Joyce has worked across various biotech companies and CROs in the Cambridge area specialising in the expression and purification of antibodies and antibody-like molecules. If there is any antibody that needs expressing, Joyce is the person who will figure it out!  At Creasallis, Joyce heads the Protein Sciences function where any piece of DNA will be magically transformed into the world’s most beautiful protein.
